In these difficult times, San Antonio Youth Literacy continues working to provide for the well-being of our students who need special assistance with reading.  

Since our Reading Buddies cannot be in classrooms right now, SAYL staff is developing a virtual Reading Buddy Program to offer young readers throughout the San Antonio community who need extra support. In addition, our staff is hard at work contacting every Reading Buddy to learn about their experiences this year and to get everyone ready when it’s safe to start meeting with our students again. 

This year the Nonprofit Council has established the Big Give Emergency Relief fundraiser. We encourage all our supporters to consider an online donation through the Big Give event HERE or directly to SAYL HERE.
