Our school spotlight of the month goes to Collins Garden Elementary in SAISD. We are very proud and appreciative for all that Collins Garden has done and continues to do for its Reading Buddies and students. The Site Director, Patricia Nester, has been nothing but lovely to SAYL, especially as we brought on new staff in the last month or so and has been beyond helpful to us as well as our buddies. Of course, it goes without saying that the 2nd Grade teachers have also been nothing but marvelous this year. From being very helpful to us and our buddies but also super supportive of their students as they aim towards great heights in their reading accomplishments.
